very bootiful addon very effective

Not sure if it has been compromised, but I cannot recommend using it in its current state. It advertises for a charity at the checkout page for a lot of websites with a checkout page. While it still works, I highly recommend uninstalling it if you have it. If they have already injected adware without updating the extension in 9 months (meaning a backdoor exists), they could inject malware in the future. Look for other alternatives.

I'm not sure about if it is an adware,I have two different adblockers (just in case ads slipped past the first one),and I have never gotten an ad from it,I can,however,say that it IS a functioning extension that does quite noticeably boost sound,even if the slider is set low,I have my review at 4 stars because of the supposed adware thing,I will boost it up to 5 if it's disproven

Warning: ADWARE, DO NOT INSTALL This extension has been useful in many situations where the volume of site is not loud enough, however recently I was at checkout at a shop and this popped up on the screen (no sign it was from this extension until I clicked further details) demanding me to donate them money with no X button. Why would a volume booster do this, this is a complete breach of privacy and I did not agree to this when signing up. Would not suggest this extension to anyone, this is malware and you have been warned. I sadly just uninstalled too after experiencing this.

Non-toggleable checkout donation window. Adware garbage, can't close or remove the pop-up interrupts workflow and casual browsing. Absolutely annoying. Done with this.

damn, I spend 2 years without good sound due to earpods not loud enough. I randomly search like sound booster thinking maybe someone has already build a tool for it and I was right. And it's working fine. damn it wooohoooooo now I can focus more on my work.
